Refund & Cancellation Policy

Hanford Media Group Ltd (“dev|cut.”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides digital screenplay coverage and related services through devcut.io and app.devcut.io (the “Services”). This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds are available for purchases made through the Services. Because we provide digital services, there are no physical goods to return.
Coverage credits and one-off purchases
When you purchase a single coverage report or coverage credits, you may request a full refund at any time before you submit a script and coverage work has begun.
Once you submit a script and coverage is in progress or has been delivered, the purchase is non-refundable, because the service has been performed. This includes any coverage credit that has been applied to a submission.
Subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term, and you will retain access to your plan’s benefits until then. We do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for unused time within a billing period.
Your statutory rights (UK and EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain purchases within 14 days. Where you ask us to begin providing a digital service immediately — for example, by submitting a script for coverage — you acknowledge that you may lose this right once the service has begun, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this Policy affects any statutory rights you have that cannot be waived.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with your account email address and details of the purchase you would like refunded. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, though the time for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer.
Exceptional circumstances
We want you to be satisfied with your coverage. At our discretion, we may offer a refund or an additional coverage credit in exceptional circumstances, even where a purchase would otherwise be non-refundable.
